All of the Munchkin games are great fun. But the trappings of the HP Lovecraft universe (inspiration behind the cult classic Army of Darkness) appeals especially to me. All of the cards in Munchkin Cthulhu will amuse even the most fanatical of Lovecraftian Fans. In perfect John Kovalic style, creatures and elements of the Cthulhu Mythos are comically twisted in true Munchkin form. Power your character up to level 10 before anyone else and you'll win. However as with all Munchkin games, the monsters in the deck are not nearly as frightening as the treachery of your fellow players. If you have a "gamer" background, pick the flavor of Munchkin that's closest to your heart and give it a try. You'll love it. |
