Play Othello, declared the game that takes a minute to learn, and a life time to master! This is a high-paced strategy game that anyone can play. The object of the game is to trap your opponent's disks between your own, therefore turning the disks over to your color. Just remember that the same will happen to you! In all probability, the disks will change colors many times before the game is finished. Play ends when no more pieces can be played on the board. The person with the most chips face up (to his/her color) wins!

I keep playing this game over and over and each time I never know who is going to win until the last piece is played. Strategy Tip: Go for the corners, but don't think these will guarantee a win. I have lost when owning all four corners!

Submited By: Karen Stephens on 03/29/2004 A classic game that my husband Dave and I go back to over and over. It's got all the strategy of chess but at a much faster pace. I like that you never know who's going to win until the last piece is played. The only drawback is that I always want to eat Oreo's when I think about Othello......
