River Crossing, the Perilous Plank Puzzle is an absorbing linear puzzle from the makers of Rush Hour. Your goal is to move a hiker across a river over a series of stumps and planks. Forty different challenge cards, ranging from beginner to expert, determine your starting position and how may planks and stumps you'll be using. Place a card in the pegboard game frame, then set a stump in each hole and a plank over each gray shaded area in the picture.
At this point, your hiker gets involved. He may move a plank aside, use it as a walkway, or saved it until needed--as long as it moves to and from an adjacent position. His magnetic feet cling to plank centers for easy pulling and placing. However many moves it takes, the hiker just needs to make his way from shore to shore.
A well-illustrated booklet provides instructions and solutions, and everything travels easily in a convenient drawstring bag.
