This is a fast game, which can be good or bad, depending on what you like. It's like tic tac toe except you can move your pieces from space to space and gobble up other pieces -- which is where it gets funny. It's hard to keep track of all the layers of gobblets. My six year old sister has beaten me at this a couple times!

Gobblet has you trying to line up four of your game pieces in a row. It sounds easy except that you can “gobble up” playing pieces that are smaller than your piece. That means your best strategy can collapse as your opponent “gobbles up” your pieces. Then you think you have the game won but the piece you move (you can place new pieces or move pieces already on the board) had an opponents piece under it and he/she just won the game!!! You’ve got to have a good memory and good strategy if you’re going to win this game.
