Settlers of Catan - Revised Edition has all the strategy and challenge of the original Settlers, but the cards, gameboard hexes, and Rules & Almanac booklet are infused with beautiful, new art. In addition, there is now an interlocking "sea" border that holds the gameboard hexes in place so they don't slide around during play. Randomly placed board elements change the game every time you play. Build roads, settlements, and cities that bring in resource cards, advance development, or beef up your army of knights--but beware the traveling robber who may suddenly appear to steal away your precious gains. Translate all your successes into Victory Points to become Lord of Catan!
This Revised Edition with art updated in 2007 is compatible with the original Settlers of Catan. Check out the 5-6 Player Expansion (which also features the new art) or one of the many sequel Catan games that add even more depth and fun to this already great game.
