Submited By: Heather Meissner on 10/31/2007 This is one of the best games to play for a game night! It is fairly easy to learn - as you get the hang of it right away. There are two types of cards in the deck - the Noble Cards (which give you your points ranging from 5 points down to negative points) and your action cards which allow you to manipulate the line of cards to your advantage, to take another player's cards, or to mess up another players hand. As you collect Noble cards, you place them in your own score pile - face up. Twelve Noble cards are placed in a line on the table and a miniature guillotine is placed at the front of the line. You have to take the first Noble in line unless you have an action card that allows you to move a noble (and there are several variations of these types of action cards). Some action cards allow you to reverse the line, and the guillotine is moved to the end. You will find the possibilities endless. The artwork on the cards is very amusing, depicting caricatures of the people from the French Revolution era. We absolutely love this game because it is fun to play, it takes about thirty to forty minutes, and it is amusing.

Submited By: Hans Isaacson on 03/08/2007 One of the greatest games of "spite your neighbor" ever created. There's a bit of chance to the game, but the strategy possibilities are very rich. An awesome game!

Submited By: Bill Cox on 10/31/2006 I never knew the French Revolution could be so much fun. As might be guessed from the title, this one is a bit different from most card games. You're an executioner shortly after Bastille day, and you get to collect nobles, well their heads anyways. King Louis and Marie Antoinette join others such as palace guards, the Bad Nun, tax collectors and Piss Boy for you to enjoy. The more famous, or more hated by the people, the more points they're worth. A deck of cards allow you to randomly rearrange the order of the 'guests', push people to the front of the line, hide in the crowd, or even steal from your rival executioner's (other players) baskets. Add Matyrs and other tragic victims which can give you negative points and Heads will Roll!
