The fate of the world hangs in precarious balance as an evil overlord emerges from the darkness to threaten any who oppose him. A small spark of hope remains in the city of
Terrinoth, as four brave heroes prepare and train for the final challenge, brought on by the overlord himself!
Descent - The Road to Legend, introduces a new "Advanced Campaign" mode that permits the players to undergo a progression of adventures as one continuous story, which eventually leads to the ultimate battle with the overlord himself. As the heres battle with the overlord's minions, the heroes retain the skills and tools thus allowing them to become stronger and more experienced for the final battle. Unfortunately for the heroes, the evil overlord will be gaining strength too, therefore coming closer to his atrocious intent!
This expansion features an outdoor map encompassing the city of Terrinoth, a new dungeon system, and new components such as dice, items and terrain!
