This is my favorite chess set. It's the one I have at home. It has a perfect combination of distinct appearance and usability. A lot of fancy chess sets are so different from the normal pieces that it's tough to see what is going on on the board. But not with this set. The pieces are instantly recognizable, but they still have character. Nice tall rooks, bishops with big, funny heads. They say that the knight makes the set, and this knight is beautiful, with elegant, classy lines, and a long, graceful neck.
I recommend this set for anyone wanting something distinctive but usable.
