This set of Drueke Wood Staunton Chessmen are triple weighted with green felt bottoms. The dark pieces are made of Rosewood and the light pieces are made of Shesham. The kings stand 2 1/2" tall. All Drueke products are made in America and are among the highest quality products we carry.

I received (2) Drueke products within (3) days' time from when I ordered them : these Chess pieces, and Dueke Hardwood Checkers pieces. What is Not stated, is that the Chess men come with a Canvass Case which Zippers closed, and that the Case has enough Room for not only the Chess men, but also the Checkers pieces. The Chess men are beautifully carved, with a very nice Balanced feel (due to their being Weighted), and the Felt Bottoms are smoothly glued in place, without wrinkles. The Base of the Kings measures 1-1/4" in Diameter. The Pawns are 1-1/2" tall with a Base of 7/8" Diameter. I Purchsed these (2) Drueke Products to compliment a Custom-made Chess Board I have ordered. The Case measures 7-3/4" x 5" x 2-1/2" ... which will fit inside the Drawer below the Customized Chess Board I have ordered to be Created. I am very pleased with my Purchase.
